An ill reindeer

Well, the week did indeed fly by; and here I am on Friday night, packed and good to go. Things stayed busy enough here that I've hardly given any thought to being home again; but I'm sure that I'll have a good time, as always.

The week wrapped up well tonight, with our office Christmas dinner. I seem to recall that at last year's supper, I not only had my own desert, but also finished off two others. (Lightweights!) No such luck this time around; but it could be just as well, since I was rather stuffed. (Okay, disregard the "lightweights!" comment.)

It was a tenuous year at work, by times, so I'm happy that at the end of it, the four of us are still rocking; and tonight's supper was a good celebration of that fact.

As usual, updates will be either sporadic or non-existent until I get back on the 29th. In the meantime, feel free to assume that I'm enjoying myself at home.

J.

P.S. "Christmas in Hollis" remains the best holiday song in all the land.
