Been caught stealing

'Tis the Summer of Lost Concerts, it seems. Of course, there was the much-bemoaned missed Bad Seeds show last month. Then the White Stripes postponed a significant portion of their tour, including the Montreal date. (No word on rescheduling yet.) Now, the Lollapalooza folks have decided to strip one date from their schedule--namely, the one that I had been planning on attending: Vernon, New York.

Incidentally, that lost show could also be titled The Only Lollapalloza Stop That Is At All Convenient For Me To Attend. Oh, and let's not forget the fact that the organizers had originally stated that Toronto would be on the tour, before silently scrapping that plan. Damn you, Perry Farrell!
